Long Bio (about 180 words)

Shant Cimenian is an Armenian American author, speaker, and entrepreneur from Watertown, Massachusetts. At just nine months old, he was diagnosed with an ultra-rare form of Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF), an incurable autoinflammatory genetic disease that causes recurring fevers and severe pain. Because FMF is an invisible illness, much of his childhood was spent fighting battles others could not see, including hospital stays, missed school, and the quiet question of "Why me?"

With the support of his family and his faith, Shant chose to turn his struggle into purpose. In December 2023 he published My Life, My Victory: Thriving with a Rare Genetic Disease, which reached #1 on Amazon in chronic pain categories and has reached readers in more than 64 countries. He has since released a children's edition and additional books, and his story has been featured by NY Weekly, Business Insider, Yahoo Finance, and Benzinga.

Shant studies Management at Georgetown University and has built businesses in real estate. His short film, Victory Adventures, inspires young people to face adversity with courage, and a feature film adaptation is in development.
